Unusual "JSMAIL" handstamp (Kiraic fig. 1525) and framed "P.D." in same ink below; with "A" transit and Strasbourg French entry mark in blue (Oct 9).     50 bani indigo & blue, a fine four margined example used on cover to the President of the Court of Appeal in Athens, Greece tied by "Braila" datestamp (2/6) in black and framed "P.D." applied. Cover endorsed "via Roustchouk & Varna" with reverse showing transits of Austrian P.O. in Constantinople (5/6), "Lloyd Agenzie / Constantinopoli" (7/6) and Piraeus and Athens datestamp of receipt. Taxed for inland delivery at 20 lepta with Greece Large Hermes 1870/71 10 lepta orange on blued paper (2), margins touched, tied by Athens datestamp (May 31). Interesting Plate Flaw on the 15 bani with cut in outer frame line at upper left and large break in first "I" of "Cincis".     1872: New Stones, 10 bani ultramarine on watermarked laid paper, a superb mint marginal pair from right of sheet (Transfer Types 6-7-X) and showing the 'blank space' at right as found on lower five horizontal rows of the sheet.
