1864 (Sept 14/26): "Bukurest-Giurgevo-Plojeschter Eilfahrt" printed form for the Bucharest-Giurgevo-Ploesti Route with superb engraving of four horse Mail Coach, with price noted for shipment of 593 piastres and the prices charged (30 pounds carried free, 9 paras per pound thereafter) for transport of persons and packages of the Opera Company. 1860 (June 6): Entire letter from Oltenita to Bucharest, most unusually sent "Express /Estafeta" with manuscript at top denoting this Service, and at lower left the rate paid "15" in blue crayon: for each of the three Post Stations between Oltenita and Bucharest the charge levied was 5 piastres = 15 piastres.
