ILFOVU" rural cds in blue (Kiriac fig. 885), straight line OLTENITZA of the telegraphic P.O. at the Danube port in blue and framed "P.D." alongside. The front shows an Austrian "P.P." which corrected the erroneously applied PD. Reverse with Austrian CONSTANTINOPEL and Constantinople Lloyd transit (March 20) as well as Syros arrival (March 15) cds's. Upon arrival, the cover was taxed with '20' lepta in blue crayon and a left marginal Large Hermes Head 20 lepta blue showing variety 'inverted 0' (Karamitsos 27 Nb) with ample to large margins was added and tied by the same datestamp. A very attractive cover full of character, a very rare mixed franking of Romanian and Greek stamps.
