    1951: American Red Cross envelope from a Turkish Soldier serving in the Korean War with the American 25th Division to Istanbul, sender's return address via Tokyo, franked by USA 15 c. grey-blue tied by ARMY AIRFORCE POSTAL SERVICE / A.P.O. 25 datestamp (May 3). The Turks sent over 5'000 troops to serve with the Americans, losing nearly a 1'000 men with over 2'000 wounded. Mail from this force is, however, very rare. Ex collection Bill Robertson.

    1902/: Collection in small blue stockbook with 1899/1900 1 p. on 25 p. rose-lake surcharged in black (740, including a block of 99 used), 1902 surcharged 1 ch. on 'Tai-Han' 25 p. rose-lake with 150 examples unused including blocks of 4 (three), 6, 12, 16 and two blocks of 24; 1900 Japanese P.O. surcharged on Wedding 3 s. carmine (90 examples) used including multiples cancelled at Ninsen. A rare offering of much under-catalogued material Yvert = EUR 89'000.
