1869: Cover and complete contents, mailed from Bangkok to Scutari / Albania and struck with italic "Consulat de France à Bangkok" in blue endorsed at upper right "Via Trieste", carried on French Paquebot"Cambodge" and struck with fine "LIGNE N / PAQ. FR. No. 2" datestamp in black (Salles 1921). The cover arrived in Suez on Aug 19, and was trans-shipped via French P.O. in Alexandria (Aug 21) via Trieste and Vienna (Sept 1) and thence to the French Consul in Scutari. Blue manuscript '85' deleted and altered to 40 (kreuzer) due in blue crayon.
