    1926 (Aug 15): 6 k. postal stationery card up-rated to 80 kurus for the registered airmail rate, used on First Flight from Istanbul to Brindisi (Muller #20); the flight never occurred as can be seen by the route taken with Vienna cds (20/8) struck on front and Trieste Ambulante cds (21/8) at left. In all probability this card was flown by CIDNA to Vienna and thence by train and not by AEI (Aero Espresso Italiana), nevertheless a scarce usage with just 61 items of mail carried. Ex collection Bill Robertson.
