    1914/22: Postcard of Captain Ismail Hakki, unused, the navigator and sole survivor of the four Turkish Aviators who attempted to fly in 1914 from Istanbul to Egypt. Hakki flew with Captain Nuri who was drowned off Jaffa.The two pilots of the other aeroplane on the flight were kiled in Syria on the previous day. A superb card, signed at lower left by Capt. Hakki and dated 22 September 1922. Ex collection Bill Robertson.
