    1909/14. The collection of postcards, mostly unused, featuring all the pilots who flew in or over Turkey, with Baron de Caters (1909), Gordon Bell (1910, Mehmet V, Coronation flight), Capt. Fethi and Capt. Sadik on Syrian card with picture presumably taken in Damascus prior to their deaths on 1914 flight, Capt. Fethi at Ayastefanos, visit of Mehmet V to Ayastefanos, Capt. Nuri (killed at Jaffa in 1914), Bleriot in Syria in 1913 etc. A fine and rare group (16 items). Ex collection Bill Robertson.
