    1851/57: 3 c. dull red, a vertical pair with touched to large margins, used on small 1857 envelope to Paris via London, cancelled by red circular grid cancels and faint red New York cds; with pencilled "Steamer Nashville" alongside, struck in London (Feb 14) with framed "GB/1F 60c." Accountancy marking in black. Small hole in face panel away from adhesives but a scarce fraanking pre-paying the 5 cent inland rate.
