    1851/57: 1 c. blue, Type IV, a horizontal pair used with 3 c. dull red on 1855 entire letter from New Orleans (June 26) to Nantes, France endorsed "per Asia" at top, cancelled by circular black grids. Refolded reverse with "Boston/Br. Pkt." datestamp (July 4) in black, London transit in red (July 16) and both Paris and arrival datestamps, charged with handstruck '13' decimes due in black. A generally fine and scarce usage.
