    German POW Mail 1918: Cover to USA franked by O'Higgins 10 c. black & blue (2) tied by Rio Negro cds's (Sept 6); reverse with "Isla Quiriquina" return address of the Prison Camp (some 500 miles north of Rio Negro) and cover carried by favour of a guard or warder for mailing. Reverse with Santiago tranit cds (Sept 8). Two OPENED BY CENSOR Reseals, one with handstruck "Passed by Censor / 250" in violet. Rare. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
