Prussian blue, Die II, a horizontal pair used on 1908 cover endorsed "Via Monte Video" addressed to Port Stephens, Falkland Islands, tied by Sydney machine cancel (May 5), with "FALKLAND / ISLANDS" arrival cds also on obverse (July 1). Reverse with three Rio de Janeiro transitr datestamps (June 16 and 17). An extraordinarily rare destination and very fine.rnrnNote: Port Stephens was one of the Falkland Island Company's largest sheep stations on the South West of West Falkland Island.
