    DDSG / DSNC 1866: 17 kr. scarlet, perf. 12, a used example on 1866 cover from Sistov to Galatz, Romania tied by oval framed Paddle Steamer handstamp "SILISTRIA / 21 / 5" handstamp in blue with manuscript date "21/" in ink instead of using the Ship Number (Tchilighirian fig. 300). A very early usage of the 17 kreuzer scarlet - only issued on April 15, 1866. Illustrated in "Die Österreichische Levantepost in Bulgarien" by Dr. Georgi Popov on page 44. This cover is also discussed in Tchilinghirian on page 185. An outstanding cover of great importance.
