    Duty Stamps / Revenues 1892 (July 1): Large Duty Stamps (4th series), the unused collection with 3 d. lilac in a horizontal pair, 6 d. green (5) incl. a marginal Imperforate Plate Proof with doublking of the "Duty Stamp" legend (ex Besançon, Nov 2017, lot 6213), 1 s. blue (2), 1 s. purple-brown, 2 s. orange-yellow (2, differing shades), 2 s. 6 d. purple-brown, 3 s. grey, 5 s. carmine-pink, 10 s. brown (cert. Ceremuga) and £ 1 deep green of fresh colours (Barefoot Bf37/Bf46); together with 3 d., 1 s., 2 s., 2 s. 6 d., 5 s., 10 s., £ 1 and £ 5 black all with handstamped "CANCELLED" in black, four with cto circular corner cancels. A few with imperfections but a rare and appealing group and Postal Fiscals of 1878/79 1 d. violet (3) with both watermarks (Gi F33/F34) but unused without gum. Viewing recommended (30 items).
