    New Guinea, Stamps of Australia overprinted 1918/19: Triple-rate Cover from Rabaul to Berlin, Germany bearing KGV 1 d. carmine-red as well as Kangaroo 2 d. grey and vert. pair 3 d. greenish olive, tied by light RABAUL (26 NO 19) cds's, with light vertical-oval "PASSED BY CENSOR No 2 AN & MEF" cachet in violet alongside, and 'Opened by Censor Rabaul' strip. One 3 d. defective, some edge wear affecting three stamps, an interesting cover to the administration of the NEU GUINEA COMPAGNIE.
