    1870/71: Three letters 'Ballon Monté', of which two from same correspondence addressed to Pau, both numbered, the first '19' with 20 c. 'Napoléon Laureated' with cancel "VINCENNES 27 OCT 70", the other '37' with 20 c. Siege from "MONTREUIL SOUS BOIS 24 DEZ 70", letter headed up and dated 'Bivouac d' Curon (?) 23 Xbre 70', a bit mixed condition. A third letter of very small size franked 20 c. Siege with cancel "PARIS CARDINAL LEMOINE 19 JANV 71" addressed to Courtenay, Loiret.
