1918 (Dec 1): Cover from Mecca to Jeddah carried at concessionary double rate of 32 para (rather than 1 piastre), franked by 1917 1/8 pi. dull purple vertical pair, ½ pi. green and 1 pi. red all tied by "Mecca" arabic only datestamps. Djedda arrival datestamp above. Some peripheral ageing but a very scarce cover-this combination of values is the minimum number of stamps needed to make up this rate.
