    1916: 1 pi. blue, rouletted 20, a fine used example on 1917 cover addressed to Francis Hugh Vallancey in London (an initiator, in 1920, of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists) neatly tied by "Djeddah / 3" datestamp (June 13) in black. Circular Censor marking-normally seen on letters passing through Army P.O. SZ22- at left and reverse witrh Port Taufiq transit cds. Fresh and fine cover.
