    Napoléon Bonaparte 1803: Lettersheet with imprint '27e. Division Militaire/Le Général Menou' and regarding the nomination of several persons into higher duties, at bottom line the letter is dated 'Au Palais de St. Cloud le 2 Messidor an 12' (21.7.1803) and it bears the original signature of the Emperor 'Napoleon', a rare item of historical value, in addition lettersheet dated 1810 the time when Napoleon acted as King of Italy.

(Type I), 15 c., 20 c., 25 c. and 50 c., nine fresh mint examples with fine large part original gum. An extremely rare part set of nine, with only 150 stamps printed on most values, only 100 of the 10 c. and only 50 of the 50 c., see Peter Smith page 107.
