    1865 (May): Stampless cover from Mauritius (despatch cds on reverse) to Bordeaux, endorsed "per Steamer "Sultan" via Suez" at top, the P & O Steamer left Mauritius on May 7, thence via Suez where cover tranferred to P&O "Delta" arriving in Marseille (June 3) and struck with red entry cds and framed Accountancy marking "GB / 1F 62 4/10c" in black (Salles 2131, Van Der Linden fig. 1600). Charged 6 decimes due in black. Flap missing but scarce.
