The Rebellion and War in Algeria 1954-1962. The fantastic study, formed by a soldier who took part in the War, with the whole gamut of Stamps, Postal History, Newspaper Cuttings, Photographs and extraordinary Posters, autograph letters from Generals involved. This phenomenal collection begins with France issues used in Algeria during the beginning of the War, continues with covers showing the S.A.S. and S.A.U. cachets on franked and un-franked covers, continues with F.L.N. circulars and 'Laissez Passer' documents, propaganda leaflets, rare Recovered Mail, Interrupted Mail, July 1962 "EA" overprints on France with sheets, blocks, covers under each Department that issued the various different handstamps, surcharge varieties, provisional surcharges, booklets and complete sheets.
