    1849/1959: Lot of hundreds of stamps & souvenir sheets primarily in mint condition with a large variety of better values and sets, incl. many useful subjects like 1919 King Albert in Uniform definitives, complete set of 14 mint og. as block of four, the franc values margined from the lower left of the sheet with control mark, 1928 Orval mint (2), 1929 definitives 10-20 fr. severalfold, 1930 Antwerp (2) and 1931 Brussels stamp shows souvenir sheets unused,1932 Mercier full set mint (2), 1932 Infantry monument mint (4), 1933 Orval full set of 12 mint /unused (3), 1933 tuberculosis set unused, 1935 SITEB souvenir sheet unused (4), 1952 Koekelberg souvenir sheet mint (2) and 1952 UPU congress mint (5); also a large stock of souvenir sheets from 1937/41; in addition few covers and FDCs.     1900/10c.: Unadopted Colour Trial portrait of Tsar Ferdinand I 10 s. yellow, eight values printed on thick wove paper, probably an essay for 20th anniversary of the assession to the throne. Some corner creases, but nevertheless a rare item.

    1886/2008: Several hundred covers, stationery, postcards, and picture postcards. The majority is post 1945 material, but there are about 300 items from 1886/1944, including an interesting mix of usages like 1896 stationery postcard 10 st. red Orthodox baptism of Prince Boris with additional 25 st. red (2) of the same issue and sent registered to Boston, stationery card 5 st. green Baptism together with 5 st. blue of the same issue, postmarked with black bilingual "Roustchouk 28.IIII.96", and sent to Venice; or picture postcard depicting the Russian church at the Shipka Pass, franked with 5 st. red commemorating the anniversary of the Shipka battle, postmarked with bilingual "Chipka 12.IX.902". In addition several non-philatelic items like passports etc., in two boxes.

    1895/1917: Five complete or partial newspapers, incl. first sheet of the newspaper "PROGRESS" franked with a 1 st. mauve Large Lion, sent from Sofia to Roustchouk; in addition four newspapers franked with 1 st. values of the 1901 Ferdinand or the 1911 landscape definitive issue, sent as single or double rate printed matter within Bulgaria.

    1915/18: Lot of 12 covers and postcards sent from French Prisoners of War in Bulgaria. Four show Bulgarian cachet "Prisonnier de Guerre" to assure free postage, all were censored either in Sofia or Plovdiv. The majority directed to France, another one to Switzerland. A very rare example is a postcard sent within Bulgaria from one POW in Sofia to another French POW in Tatar Pazadjik. A very nice group of postal history from different camps like Plovdiv, Radomir, Sofia, Tatar Pazadjik, and Yakoruda.

    1943 (April 10): Proof sheets of the 5 k. + 3 k. deep red and 7 k. + 5 k. blackish blue-green, both printed on thin granite paper, ungummed, annotated at top "Imprimatur" on each, further annotated to print 15'000 of the 5 k. sheet and 7'500 of the 7 k. sheet. Both sheets with central horizontal crease but unique and extraordinary items.
