    Lot# : 112 Ukraine

Parcel card (fragment) used at "KHOTIN BESS 15. 10. 18", franked with 16 Imperial Arms type stamps overprinted with Podillia Ia (including the scarcer 5 k. imperforate). This fragment is evidence for the temporary presence of Ukrainian administration in Khotin prior to the incorporation of Imperial Russia's Bessarabian territories into modern Romania. Loose stamps can be found with Khotin postmarks but this fragment is unusual.
