    1757 (Dec 15): Entire letter from Chur to Captain Poult of Sprecher's Grisons Regiment at Bergon op Zoom, endorsed "Franco Rheinhausen" with manuscript '8' on reverse. Re-rated "679" in Schaffhausen. Reverse with manuscript Forwarding Agent's notation of Danièle Frey and Sons in Lindau. Rare and fine entire, taxed on arrival with manuscript '12' due, sent in this fashion to avoid disturbance caused by the Seven Years War.

    1760 (May 14): Entire letter from a Captain Müller in Rheinau to Lucerne, without postal markings, long address panel to a Captain Schumacher, of the Swiss Regiment of St. Gallen, Dunant at the house of his father Lieutenant Colonel and Senator of the Canton of Lucerne and Grand Bailiff of Rottenbourg in Lucerne. Fresh and fine early entire.

    1824 (Oct 25): Entire letter with "Bern" despatch in black, mailed to the "Premier Aide de Camp Suisse to the Duke of Bordeaux" in Paris, endorsed "frco Delle" and struck with framed "Suisse / Par / Delle" entry mark (Van Der Linden fig. 2673). Re-addressed on arrival with fine two line "Débousés / Bau. De La Cour" in red (Nov 4). Superb intact wax seal also on reverse. Opened well for Exhibit display, a fine entire.

    1824 (Nov 18): Entire letter to a Lieutenant in the Swiss Guard at Versailles, struck with superb framed "Schwytz" handstamp in black (Winkler 3530), and taxed '8' kreuzer as far as Basel (3+2 kreuzer in red mss. applied in Zurich), Huningue entry marking in black and "Banlieue" arrival on reverse alongside Versailles 2nd District marking. Charged 10 decimes on arrival. An attractive entire.
