Rare and fine entire, taxed on arrival with manuscript '12' due, sent in this fashion to avoid disturbance caused by the Seven Years War.

    1824 (Oct 25): Entire letter with "Bern" despatch in black, mailed to the "Premier Aide de Camp Suisse to the Duke of Bordeaux" in Paris, endorsed "frco Delle" and struck with framed "Suisse / Par / Delle" entry mark (Van Der Linden fig. 2673). Re-addressed on arrival with fine two line "Débousés / Bau. De La Cour" in red (Nov 4). Superb intact wax seal also on reverse. Opened well for Exhibit display, a fine entire.
