    1859 (Feb 9): Cover from Trinidad to Ile Rousse/Corsica franked by 1857 imperforate 1 d. red on white paper, good margins, cancelled in black by partial '1' numeral, with double arc "Trinidad" cds on reverse. The cover was mailed via London (March 4) with red datestamp on reverse and there struck with framed "GB / 2F-" Anglo-French accountancy marking in black (Van Der Linden fig. 1624). Paris transit on reverse and charged "10" decimes due (1 franc) on arrival. A splendid and rare cover. Opinion Holcombe (1989).
