Corinphila clients, who intend to bid live via the Internet for the first time need to click on the "Login/Registration"-button for registration (if you do not have an Corinphila account yet) or login (if you already have a Corinphila account). In your personal account ("My account") you will find a menu named "Online Services". Select "Online Live Bidding", enter your credit line, and send the form. Within a day or two you will receive an confirmation-email notifying you of your account having been activated.

Following your registration and after your data has been checked and acknowledged by Corinphila, you can

• bid live, just as if you were in the auction room
• hear the auctioneer
• follow the auction on the screen either in German, English or French

1. Visit www.corinphila.com. In the menu section "Auction", click at "Online Live Bidding".
2. Before you start bidding, we recommend practising on the simulator in order to get used to the technique of online bidding.
3. Register with a user name and password of your choice by the day before the auction at the latest. Later registrations cannot be guaranteed. You receive an e-mail confirmation, which you reconfirm for security reasons. One registration is sufficient for all bids during the whole auction.
4. Together with the registration confirmation, each Internet bidder is automatically granted a purchasing limit of CHF 20,000,-. Should you wish to increase this limit, kindly send an e-mail to our accounts department at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it indicating the requested purchasing limit. Of course, you can also increase the limit during the auction. Simply click at the page “Finance” of the live auction. However, kindly take into consideration that it can take some time for us to check and meet your request.
5. Turn on your PC promptly on the dates and at the times indicated in the auction schedule. Log in with your username and password.
6. As usual, at Corinphila auctions each lot is auctioned individually in the auction room in Zurich.
7. Click “bidding” as soon as the lot you are interested in is offered in the auction room. The produced sound signals the auctioneer and the floor bidders that you are interested in the lot on offer.
8. The indication “Going, Going, Gone” appears in three steps on the screen. As soon as the first “Going” appears, you have to place your bid immediately.
9. If several bids from the Internet are placed simultaneously, only the bid which is received first will be accepted. If your bid was not the first to be received, it will not be indicated. In this case, kindly place a new bid immediately.
10. If the indication “Going, Going, Gone” appears completely on the screen, the lot was knocked down either to another Internet bidder or to a floor bidder in the auction room in Zurich. If your bid was the last indicated bid on the screen, the lot was knocked down to you.
