Forwarded cover from Italy (Nov 15, 1871) with 1863 40 c. carmine and 1867 20 c. blue, readdressed on arrival with Austrian Levant 1867 5 s. and 25 s.; again readdressed with Egypt 1867 1 pi. red (2) cancelled at Egyptian P.O. in Constantinople, sent on to Aleppo (Dec 30) where taxed by Turkish 10 pa. adhesives (2) to Beirut. Addressee not found and cover returned to Smyrna (Jan 10, 1872). An extraordinary four country franking.
